My mom is having her breast cancer surgery as we speak. She’s lucky that it got caught in the early stages and she will most likely make a full recovery and still have her breast. Not all women are that lucky and that’s why I’ll be focusing on breast cancer awareness in the month of October aka Pink Month!

It’s important that you check your own breasts, as silly as it sounds it can save your life! Start at an early age, because breast cancer can hit you in an early age although in most cases it accures when the woman is over 50.
