sickness

Today is what we call “Pink Saturday” and it basically means that more than 100 cities in Denmark is doing events to collect money for breast cancer research. The organization behind is Kræftens Bekæmpelse and they have a sister organization called Støt Brysterne (Support the breast – directly translated). Most of the events are health oriented, but also grocery stores and bakeries are focusing on breast cancer awareness. For example at Super Best you can buy baby-pink roses and by doing so they donate money to breast cancer research.

My mom is having her breast cancer surgery as we speak. She’s lucky that it got caught in the early stages and she will most likely make a full recovery and still have her breast. Not all women are that lucky and that’s why I’ll be focusing on breast cancer awareness in the month of October aka Pink Month!

It’s important that you check your own breasts, as silly as it sounds it can save your life! Start at an early age, because breast cancer can hit you in an early age although in most cases it accures when the woman is over 50.

So I just began school today and so far it has been a complete failure. My school’s internet has always been shit, but today something went completely wrong and not one single student from 3rd semester can log on o_O

It’s a mystery to me that a school like this, where students are depending on an internet connection, has such a shitty connection. I mean we’re all depending on a connection so we can download files, codes, schedule, etc. yet almost every single day there is a problem with it. How can they expect us to deliver great products, when we can’t use the internet unless we use our 3G phone connection -_-‘

Luckily there was a solution to this problem. They reset my password and now I can log in, but imagine this: 130+ students all needing their password reset and only 1 person can do it. It’ll be mayhem!
